Friday's Web Attack Apparently Real

Last Friday I wondered if some sort of denial of service attack had disabled both Instapundit and Captains Quarters. Capt. Ed has confirmed that his server was indeed down last Friday. His server is provided by Hosting Matters, which suffered an attack by Saudis, who were apparently concerned that some of the speech being displayed by their users was too free.
