The Four Yorkshire Men Sketch - Earliest Version

I came upon this version of the sketch, made famous by the full Monty Python troupe. It has to be the earliest version.

As you will see, John Cleese and Graham Chapman were involved, as were Marty Feldman, later of Young Frankenstein fame and someone named Tim Brooke-Taylor. All were given writing credits. The credits also note that the program was produced by David Frost. It was a long way from British comedy television to the famous interview with Nixon.

The note on Youtube says it is from 1948, but that is impossible. TV was not that advanced in '48 and Cleese would have only been 9 and Chapman 7. I'm betting early 60's.

The older I get, the less this seems like comedic exaggeration.
