Great "Lost" Episode Last Night
For those of you too wrapped up in American Idol to have caught it, last night's "Lost" was a much appreciated relief from the usual slow motion plot development we've come to expect. Thankfully gone were the requisite flashbacks that enlighten us about character backstories. We were instead treated to the intriguing story of Claire's recovered memory of her abduction by Ethan and "the Others", to yet another bunker. She immediately seeks it out and we find that this one was full of high tech medical equipment (now gone) which they intended to use to take Claire's baby via caesearian section. Her survival would not have been essential. She is freed by a young woman who it may turn out is Rosseau's daughter, who was taken from her two decades ago.
Also, Mr. Eko shows some interesting hints about what he may be up to. And we saw John and Jack's prisoner skillfully manipulate the beginnings of dissension between his two captors, with a very self-satisfied look on his face.
It was fun.
